So when you buy something it is shipped by the maker, artist or manufacturer, not from a warehouse. It's sort of online gallery, for the most part, although they do carry some mainstream retail items that are (I assume) drop shipped from the manufacturers. ![]() In response to all of this, I have now decided to return all of the items in the order, request that they remove my email and regular mail address from their marketing lists and will never buy from them again.Īrtful Home is a middleman business. Instead, I am stuck with an almost $90.00 item of clothing that is useless to me. customer service is supposed to do what is right. Sometimes, in the interest of good faith and when a customer was unaware of a final sale restriction. The fact is they were inconsistent in their notices regarding "Final Sale." I would never have ordered the item had I known. Nevertheless, Jane in customer service keeps insisting that I had notice, their system won't allow them to process a return for the item and they won't issue me a credit for an item that I do not want. Of course, when I tried the dress on it was completely unflattering and contacted customer service to let them know that I couldn't wear the dress, had no idea when I ordered from the online catalog that it was a final sale and would they please issue me a return authorization. When the items finally arrived on January 25,2022 I was surprised to see on the pack slip that the item was a final sale. Had there been proper notice, I would have cancelled at that point as well. There was a photo of the item in question, along with a description, but no "Final Sale" notice in the email. ![]() If I had, I would have cancelled that item as I always have to try clothes on to see how they fit once received.Īfter weeks of waiting for my order, I receive an email that the item in question (along with the other six (6) items were delayed and would ship as soon as possible. The order confirmation came through with a note that the one item was a "Final Sale", but I didn't notice it. ![]() The online catalog didn't mention that one of the items was a "Final Sale" and could not returned. Ultimately, the goal is to be artful with your pieces and give them the presence they deserve.I ordered seven (7) items of clothing from Artful Home. I encourage you to have fun and build the stories you want to tell for yourself. Finding the balance, giving each piece space to breathe and have presences but equally not to upstage. Its beauty is in the sum of the parts as well as the pieces themselves. It is packed full of memories and feelings unique to its owner. It is the dancing of the eye across a wide range of pieces that are unexpected yet cohesive which makes successful design.Īrt and the room together are an installation of form and function. I once read that if someone enters a room and can only focus on one thing, the overall design was not successful. This is purposeful – each reinforcing the other with a clear champion driving the composition. The books – not color coded but considered – are similar in scale to the geometric forms.
